Warrior Blood In Jamaica: Christopher Dudus Coke

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

“Well its claimed that he is an alleged drug lord, but for many people who lived in his area or areas in which he is said to control – he is a man who has filled in for the state, he provides them with money when they are out of work, he provides christmas presents for their children, and because of that loyalty they therefore see him as a major benefactor to their lives, and they will do anything to protect him – they call him the “President.” But, in the United States they say that he is an alleged drug-lord, they say that he is a gunman…”

Having been to Kingston, Jamaica numerous times, I am very familiar with the system of community governance and protection associated with various “area leaders.” Areas such as Tivoli Gardens (home to Bob Marley and referred to as the “concrete jungle”) are incredibly impoverished and completely disconnected from government help and control. Because they are completely disconnected from the government, the “area leaders” step in and fill the void to provide necessary social services to the families who inhabit these areas. For some, they would die without the meals that the area leaders provide. Thus, you can certainly expect shoot-outs and police stations to be set ablaze when you attempt to extradite a community figure who kept the entire area from sinking into complete and total destitution. For these people, it is a matter of survival.

So the question then becomes: Who is the bad guy here – the drug dealer who provides for the entire community or the police who are arresting an alleged “drug-lord and gunman?” You know which team we play for over here. Get money and support your community at all costs.

There is Value in Every Human

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

I would like to send a very big thank-you to Maurice Garland, my brother and fellow villain, who sent this clip our way. Clips like this remind us all of the humanity that still exists in every inmate. Many of us forget about it, even when we have family members, friends, and significant others doing time. Please make every effort to contact your loved ones who are in prison. They need you – they are still alive and are still human. And to the crooked ass police, judges, and juries who neglect these people’s humanity – a big FUCK YOU. These people are human beings! We need reform in our judicial and criminal system in this country. More discussion on this topic coming soon – as soon as we leave beta mode.

What is Going On In Chicago?

Monday, May 10th, 2010

We here at The Educated Villains are an Atlanta based website, but we need to know from the people on the streets and not just the newscasters – what is going on in Chicago? This shit seems reminiscent of Atlanta in the 90s, and if that is the case, something’s gotta give – nobody wants to see our children die. Please, anyone from or in Chicago with a realistic perspective from the streets – please give us guidance. Thank you.

They Don’t Care About Our Children

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Why, out of everything else on earth, is EDUCATION what needs to resort to budget cuts and closures? This should be first – or damn near first – on every American’s priority list. How about we take .000001% of our military budget and revamp our entire educational system, pay our teachers proper wages, and educate our society? Oh wait, thats why – because they don’t care about our children – especially if you are poor, and even more-so if you are a minority. Examples, such as these, are precisely why I call myself a villain. I guess my morals and ethics are in contrast to the American status quo. Are you brave enough to call yourself a villain?

“I’m an Educated Villain”

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

No need for real explanation. In a capitalist society, all one must do is control the dollar to maintain power. Lets keep the dollar in the community and control the power in the community. This is one of the main cores of our philosophy as Educated Villains. Look forward to more discussion on this topic as well as an unveiling of our platform when we leave beta mode and premier the site in its entirety. Enjoy.

If you have loved ones who are incarcerated, take the time to call, write, send money, and visit. Our incarcerated comrades are human, and as long as our justice system continues to neglect their humanity, they must rely on us, the villains. This serves as your official reminder.

Sweet Tea Ethics

It is an honor to co-own The Educated Villains with my brother Killer Mike. We are still in the infancy stages, and currently in beta mode, but – believe me – you can expect a whole lot more from us in the near future.

Humanity in Haiti

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

In situations such as these, I can only hope and pray that the world comes back in contact with its humanity and takes this cause and makes an example of what is possible when combining transnational efforts. The Educated Villains has donated and will continue to donate. What will you do?

Joaquín Guzmán Loera: The Drug Lord Who Got Away

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

“Here – the government, which is often corrupt, is not always good; And, the bad guys, aren’t always bad.”

Joaquin Guzman Loera

Getting money and getting away is always the goal. Funny how Americans complain about the border violence associated with Mexican drug trafficking, yet are nearly the entire market force driving the entire trade. You reap what you sow – and, in the process, outlaws like Loera make the Forbes list of the world’s billionaires. Pat yourself on the back. America – you made another villain rich. Notice how much of his money is redistributed amongst the community and those in need. Where are the government when the people are in need?
